The best place to *find* answers to programming/development questions, imo, however it's the *worst* place to *ask* questions (if your first question/comment doesn't get any up-rating/response, then u can't ask anymore questions--ridiculously unrealistic), but again, a great reference for *finding* answers.

can't view chrome > help > help to see chrome version: "The site's security certificate is not trusted!"

i'm running chrome version 26.0.1410.43 on ubuntu 12.04 and when i try to view the version by doing this: chrome > help > help, i get the following error:

The site's security certificate is not trusted!
You attempted to reach, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Google Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications.
You cannot proceed because the website operator has requested heightened security for this domain.
